Rock Gardens & Rockscapes

Cottage, Mediterranean, romantic, oriental, Zen, or American gardens are only a few of the themes used in rockscape gardens. Natural as well as contemporary, or sculptural theme directions, could be followed. There are many options when designing and constructing your rock garden. Circles or pockets of enchantment may be formed, creating a secluded or mysterious atmosphere. Integrated rockwalls, pathways, formations, or dry streambeds may be built as an entrance/exit, center, and perimeter to the gardens, surrounding a central focal point.

Rock gardens and xeriscapes have a variety of feels to them, with the intention of evoking a particular mood or emotional response, and coordinating with existing landscaping and structures. With consultation, natural stone formations can be integrated into the basic design of a project, forming an organic whole, in either exteriors or interiors.
